I am delighted to share that I have been asked to judge the annual Shepton Mallet Snowdrop photographic competition. The theme this year is “Winter Landscapes” and I am really looking forward to seeing all the entries. I will also be hosting a cyanotype workshop in the church before the winners are announced on the Saturday.
To learn more about the competition and enter please click here.

There are prizes for the three age groups, £200 for the over 18 category, £70 for the 12-17 category and £50 for the 11 & under category.
Shortlisted images will be on display in one of the festival venues and all entrants will be invited to a presentation of the prizes and certificates for the three categories on Saturday 15th February 2020.
Hi,
I am amazed by your snowdrop tree picture!
What options exist to get a copy of it?
Regards
Marcus

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation?
My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it appears a lot
of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any
solutions to help prevent content from being ripped off? I’d certainly
appreciate it.

I use copyright tracking software to protect my images, but I think it’s a problem we have to accept to some extent. I only share images at very low resolution so they wouldn’t print. There are a few sites that will track your images fo free, and prosecute should you wish, and I have accounts with a few. I would recommend researching them to see which has the best reputation and offers the services you want dependent on where you live perhaps? I hope that helps a bit.
