Bluebells at Dusk

I began this series of images one spring evening a few years ago in my local woods, and now add to it every year. The village is surrounded by woodlands, many ancient and all with bluebells, so most days in spring my walks take me to the woods. Many are beech and the arrival of the spring flowers coincides with the vibrant green leaves bursting. I will often visit the woods in the evening to capture the last shafts of light falling on the bluebells through the canopy above and listen to the evening birdsong.
