I’m so happy to share that I have a portfolio of work on show at the RHS Botanical Art & Photography 2023 at the Saatchi Gallery in London, and that The Dorset Downs has been awarded a gold medal.

My portfolio is a collection of images of the chalk downland here in Dorset. Calcareous grasslands internationally protected and known for their rich diversity of wild flowers. It can support over 40 plant species in a square metre and is home to some of our rarest wild plants and invertebrates.
In the spring and summer I spend a lot of time walking on the downs and on ancient hill forts and settlements and have been collecting images over the years which I have used to create this series.
The show opens to the public this coming Friday, 16th June and runs to the 9th July. You can find more information and book tickets here.
The portfolio is part of an ongoing series exploring the lowland chalk grasslands local to my home, and you can view the ever growing collection here.
